Life Insurance
As a young mother I have a lot of bills that don’t leave much extra cash. My mother kept asking me about William Penn life insurance for my kids. I don’t know too much about life insurance and I didn’t think it was something a young person needed. It wasn’t until a friend of mine lost her daughter in a car accident that I really took life insurance seriously.
My friend was a young mother life myself and she didn’t have the $8,000 it cost to have her child a proper funeral. It made me really think about the fact that you don’t know when anyone young or old is going to be gone and leave you with expenses that you didn’t know would come. I looked into different types of life insurance and I began to get confused. What was better for me to get my children, term life or whole life? After searching online about the differences whole life seemed to be the best thing for my kids. I wanted something that my kids could have for their entire life. I found that getting insurance for kids is much easier than for an adult and the rate stays fixed throughout their entire life.
Buying the life insurance early made for a cheaper monthly payment. Now that I have the life insurance on both of my children I do see it as a necessity and find it to be the upmost of importance. It’s also a plus that in a time of need I can borrow on the plans after a certain period of time or cash it out when my children get older and decide to get their own insurance plans. I’m glad I made the choice to invest in life insurance and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
